Stanley C. Haimes, MD, MPH, CIH, FACOEM, is board certified in Occupational Medicine and has extensive experience in travel medicine, medical surveillance, drug testing, and wellness programs for companies of all sizes.

Dr. Haimes is also a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Medical Officer for OSHA, and Member of the national committee that determines safe exposure levels to chemicals in the workplace. He is highly qualified to analyze workplace conditions ranging from Air Quality and Bio-hazard Risks to Noise Pollution and Work Site Ergonomics.

Background - For 10 years, Dr. Haimes served as the medical director for Lockheed Martin, where he developed their travel medicine program, performed travel clearance and immunizations for 30 international destinations, and reduced their Workers’ Compensation costs by 75 percent. He also served as the medical director for the National Science Foundations’ Antarctic Program, providing medical clearance for destinations like the South Pole.

A high-profile member of the occupational medicine community, Dr. Haimes has written numerous medical surveillance guidelines for the OSHA. He also serves on a number of national committees responsible for establishing the medical criteria for emergency personnel on behalf of the National Fire Protection Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

Ernest P. Chiodo, M.D., J.D., M.P.H., M.S., C.I.H. is a physician, attorney, Certified Industrial Hygienist (C.I.H), and biomedical engineer. Dr. Chiodo is board certified in the specialties of Internal Medicine, Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and Public Health and General Preventive Medicine. Dr. Chiodo served as the Medical Director of the City of Detroit and was the chief physician in charge of measures designed to protect the public health of over one million persons. He has also been the lead expert witness in a number of high profile cases including serving as the lead expert witness in a mass toxic tort case for Gerry Spence.

Howard M. Kipen MD, MPH, is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine. Dr. Kipen earned a BA from UC Berkeley, MD from UCSF, and MPH from Columbia University. He currently serves as Director of the Clinical Research and Occupational Medicine Division and Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health at Rutgers University. Dr. Kipen’s research focuses on clinical and epidemiological studies of the health effects of Indoor and Ambient Air Pollution. His research uses both controlled exposure models with ozone, fresh aerosols, and diesel-enriched on-road exposures, primarily with drives on the New Jersey Turnpike. A new EPA study examines health benefits of portable air cleaners for reducing indoor air pollution levels. Biomarker outcomes presently emphasized are exhaled breath oxidative stress and invasive and noninvasive measures of vascular function. Dr. Kipen has published morethan 200 articles on environmental / occupational health. Scholarly Activities:

Tom Jonaitis, DABT, is a Board Certified Toxicologist and Consumer Product Safety / Regulatory Consultant with 18 years of experience. He has broad expertise in the areas of Safety and Exposure Assessment, Regulatory Compliance, and Toxicology Evaluations.  

Mr. Jonaitis helps companies efficiently navigate and comply with various regulations and obstacles in the consumer product, food, cosmetic, dietary supplement, building material, and chemical industries. His has co-authored several manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals on the topics of safety, risk assessment, and other research.

Background Experience - Prior to forming RegTox Solutions, Mr. Jonaitis served as Manager of Toxicology & Regulatory Affairs at Intertek Scientific & Regulatory Consultancy (2005-2018). He worked as subject-matter expert (SME) and client contact for matters related to California Proposition 65, including presenting webinars and presentations. Ted W. Simon, PhD, DABT, is an award winning Environmental Toxicologist and Scientist. His expertise is in toxicology, risk assessment, mathematical modeling, statistics, neuroscience, and environmental / ecological health issues.

Dr. Simon has over 10 years of experience as a toxicologist employed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He served as EPA’s senior toxicologist in the waste management division working on risk and soil cleanup.

Teaching Experience - Since 2001, Dr. Simon has served as an Instructor / Adjunct Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Science, College of Public Health, at the University of Georgia.

Public Speaker - Well published, including the author of a textbook on toxicology and environmental risk assessment, Dr. Simon has extensive national and international public speaking experience. Since 1996, he has been delivering seminars and lectures to universities and national institutes on many subjects within his area of expertise. Dr. William R. Sawyer  is a Professional Toxicologist with a doctorate in toxicology from Indiana University School of Medicine. He has over 32 years of extensive experience in Public Health and Forensic Toxicology. Forensic Environmental & Laboratory Analyses. Through education and experience, Dr. Sawyer has gained extensive expertise in Forensic Petroleum Analyses, Environmental and Clinical Forensic Analyses. 

With over 23 years of laboratory experience and over 14 years experience as a licensed environmental and forensic laboratory director in New York State, he has directed forensic laboratory analyses, sampling protocol and chain-of-custody in criminal and civil matters and has provided petroleum spill assessments to multiple clients including governmental environmental agencies (NYSDEC), Departments of Justice, various State Attorney General Offices (New York, Montana), defense and plaintiff law firms and industry. Petroleum spill and exposure assessment reports have provided an objective determination to within a reasonable degree of scientific certainty. 

Dr. Sawyer is a noted author having written numerous publications, abstracts, treatises and editorials on subjects within his field of expertise. He has also delivered professional presentations on the "Fundamentals of Medical Toxicology" and "Reactive Airways Dysfunction Syndrome (RADS)" to such entities as The American Board of Forensic Medicine & The American College of Forensic Examiners among others.
