Dr. Major is a Professor of Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her area of research interest is musculoskeletal imaging with a concentration in sports related injuries, musculoskeletal tumors and biomechanics associated with injuries.

She is well-published in peer reviewed journals within the field, and serves a co-editor of Musculoskeletal MR. Dr. Major has also served as co-editor for a number of other radiology texts and references, including Fundamentals of Body CT, Radiology Core Review, and A Practical Approach to Radiology. She has a special interest in education, and was named Teacher of the Year when she served as a member of the faculty at Duke University School of Medicine.

I have the Kindle edition and use it on an ipad. I find this much easier to use than the comparable books in the Imaging Anatomy series. This book includes picture captions in the searchable text, which I find very helpful. Clear drawings and good mri images. A go-to reference.
