There were guns in my home when I was a kid. They weren't sealed in a safe; there were no trigger locks on them. I knew where they were at all times and I knew which drawers held the bullets, too.
Quite often, after explaining exactly what I do for a living, friends or new acquaintances will say to me: "Oh, so you're like a lawyer." They don't mean that in a flattering or positive way. They mean that, like a lawyer, public relations practitioners fiercely advocate for clients for the right price, and will do so without regard to ethics, morals, or the guilt or innocence of the person they represent.
