John D. Baker, MD, FACC, FACP, FSCAI

Dr. Baker is the Director of Invasive/Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Anaheim Regional Medical Center, and is an actively practicing Invasive/ Interventional Cardiologist in a busy 15+ physician Cardiology group, the largest in Orange County. He served as Co-Chair of the American College of Cardiology - Cardiovascular Care Team Council and Section from 2012-2015.
Dr. Baker is an Expert Reviewer and Consultant for the California Medical Board of Physicians and Surgeons - Enforcement Division. He has extensive experience in peer review, in his capacities as prior Chair of Invasive Cardiology, organizing and maintaining high quality accurate peer review for Anaheim Memorial Medical Center, and redesigning the process to meet Joint Commission’s Standards.
- Dr. Baker is an Interventional Physician trainer for advanced procedures such as Rotational and Laser Atherectomy. He is also an active participant and leader in multiple physician education programs and participates in Cardiology Best Practice teams to promote evidence-based medicine throughout California.
- Dr. Baker has been involved in several speaking engagements for Physician training on topics such as Drug Eluting Stents, Radiation Safety and Prevention of Skin Injury from Fluoroscopic Procedures and Advanced Coronary Interventional Procedures.
