Dr. A. d'Alessandro, MD, FACS is a Board Certified Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeon. He served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in the New York metropolitan area for 25 years and is now the Chairman Emeritus of the department.

Dr. d'Alessandro serves as a Surgical Consultant to medical specialists, Chairmen, and Boards of Directors of several scientific companies in the United States and the European Union.

Career Highlights Include:

• Invented, developed, published, and produced surgical instrumentation for open heart surgery (distributed by a major US Manufacturer)
