Dr. Ana-Maria Gallo, PhD, CNS, RNC-OB, is the Director of Nursing Education, Research and Professional Development at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. She also serves as adjunct faculty at San Diego State University and at the University of Phoenix, San Diego campus. Dr. Gallo practiced as a Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Woman and has taught maternal-child health classes at both Point Loma Nazarene University and the University of San Diego.

In addition to being a Prenatal Legal Nurse Consultant, experienced in Labor and Delivery, Antepartum Nursing, OB Triage, High Risk OB, Maternal-child health, Dr. Gallo has extensive experience in Clinical Research and Nursing Research. She is credited with over fifteen professional publications.
