V.K. Puppala, MD, DABA-PM, is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He has extensive NIH research experience in nerve injury as well as epidural injections, spinal cord stimulation, and intrathecal pumps.

Dr. Puppala has expertise in the treatment of a variety of chronic painful conditions including neck and low back pain, intractable neuropathic pain, joint pain, headaches, myofascial pain syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS/RSD), chronic abdominal pain, chronic pelvic pain, cancer-related pain, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) with a multi-modal approach.

Dr. Puppala is exceptionally skilled in a variety of minimally invasive techniques including ultrasound-guided injections, epidural injections, joint injections, diagnostic nerve blocks, radiofrequency denervation, intrathecal pump implantation, spinal cord stimulation, vertebroplasty, and kyphoplasty.

Litigation Support - Dr. Puppala provides unbiased and impartial expert testimony and litigation support services for both plaintiff and defense attorneys. His services include medical record review and causation analysis. A former journalism major, he has excellent communication skills and is able to meet tight deadlines.
