Brian K. Jones, MSBE, PE, ACTAR, CXLT
has been providing superior quality forensic expert opinions in the areas of Accident Reconstruction and Biomechanics
for almost 20 years. During undergraduate course work, he focused his studies on automotive engineering and internal combustion engines. Over the span of his career, Mr. Jones also became involved in occupant safety and injury biomechanics. Mr. Jones has reconstructed thousands of accidents, including automotive, pedestrian, and marine.
Mr. Jones is a licensed Professional Engineer in the mechanical discipline and holds full accreditation as a traffic accident reconstructionist with ACTAR. He is certified by the Bosch/Vetronix Corporation to download and analyze crash data from motor vehicles. He is also a proficient operator of the 3D Human Vehicle Environment (HVE) collision software produced by Engineering Dynamics Corporation.
Mr. Jones is a professional member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists, Southwest Association of Technical Accident Investigators, American Society for Testing and Materials, and American Society of Safety Engineers.
