Richard Ernest is an award winning Forensic Scientist and Consultant who has over 31 years of Experience in Analytical Criminalistics and Forensic Ballistics. During his career he has worked literally thousands of forensic cases, and testified hundreds of times. Mr. Ernest is one of a very few private forensic ballistics consultants in the United States. He also owns and operates his own independent forensic firearms laboratory. He has worked cases all across the United States. His clients include law enforcement agencies, district attorney's offices, civil and criminal case lawyers, private individuals, journalists, writers, educators and students.

    Allan Bayle is a Forensic Scientist who has been engaged in the Identification of Persons by means of Finger, Thumb and Palm Prints for more than 31 years. Mr. Bayle is a member of the Society of Expert Witnesses and enrolled on the United Kingdom Register of Expert Witnesses. During his career with the Metropolitan Police Service, his name was on the register of Fingerprint Experts in England & Wales, which is held at The National Training Centre for Scientific Support to Crime Investigation in Durham, on behalf of the Association of Chief Police Officers.

    Mr. Bayle successfully completed the basic and advanced Forensic Scene Examination courses within the Metropolitan Police Service. He accomplished five operational tours of duty, examining scenes of crime covering burglary to murder scenes. In 1993, he received a commendation for his outstanding scene examination.

    Allan Bayle has been a recognized expert since 1981. In April 1998, he completed a Forensic Ridgeology course in America and has given evidence on finger / palm identifications and related matters in all types of courts, including the Federal Court in Philadelphia, USA. He is considered considered Britain's leading authority on Forensic Ridgeology.

Mr. Jarvis' specialty is firearms identification and ballistics but he also has casework experience in trace evidence.

    Mr. Jarvis has extensive experience in crime laboratory accreditation, having served as an accreditation assessor and as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB), including one year as the Board Chair.

    Donald R. Schuessler, MS is a Physical Evidence and Certified Bloodstain Pattern Examiner. He has been working in Forensic Evidence Evaluation and Crime Scene Investigation since 1978. His previous work for the Eugene Police Department and as a Deputy Medical Examiner provide a broad base of experience and knowledge useful to both the defense and prosecution and have contributed to many successful case resolutions.

    One specialized operation that is routinely abused is the crime scene operation. From small police departments to large law enforcement agencies, the biggest problem with crime scene operations is the presence and interference of non-essential personnel at the scene. The law enforcement agency’s administration should deal with this and other crime scene investigation problems through effective crime scene management.
