Dr. Chris Coggins is a Board-Certified Toxicologist, a qualification he has held since 1986. He is a Principal in Carson Watts Consulting, with special expertise in Inhalation Toxicology, General Toxicology, Toxicological Pathology and Epidemiology.

Dr. Coggins' services include technical assistance in various aspects of Inhalation Toxicology, including Study Design, Exposure Methods, Study Monitoring, Data Collection, Data Interpretation, and Collation of such data into Reports and Publications in the peer-reviewed Scientific Literature. He provides similar services in the Disciplines of General Toxicology, Toxicologic Pathology, and Epidemiology. Dr. Coggins also provides Testimony as an Expert Board-Certified Witness in the Toxicology Disciplines.

Dr. Coggins has published extensively on the Toxicology of Tobacco Smoke. In addition to Publishing, he has also acted as a Reviewer for many Scientific Journals, including several of the journals in which Studies on Tobacco Toxicology are Published.

Dr. Shannon John Johnson has over ten years of experience as a Licensed Pharmacist in the State of California. Dr. Johnson has experience in Clinical Pharmacy (inpatient acute care), Clinical Information Systems, Safe Medication Practice, Quality Improvement, and Project Management. He has advised and led projects on a number of start-up initiatives in healthcare and information systems marketplaces.

George O. Waring, III is an Ophthalmic Surgeon with 30 years of experience in Vision Correction Surgery, RK, LASIK, Intraocular Lens Implants, and Cataract and Corneal Surgery. Dr. Waring is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), of the Royal College of Ophthalmology (FRCOphth, Britain), and of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (Lifetime Achievement Honor Award). He served as Professor of Ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta from 1979-2004 and is currently Professor of Ophthalmology Emeritus.

Dr. Waring was Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Refractive Surgery, (1989 – 2010) and the Journal awards the Waring Medal for Editorial Excellence annually. He has served on 15 other Editorial Boards, including the American Journal of Ophthalmology. Publications include over 250 peer reviewed original articles, 60 book chapters, and 250 brief communications. His authoritative 1300-page textbooks, Refractive Keratotomy for Myopia and Astigmatism, and Corneal Disorders: Diagnosis and Management (with Howard Leibowitz, MD) are standard references.

He has given more than 35 named lectures at universities and professional societies and has spoken at more than 600 ophthalmic meetings in over 60 countries on 6 continents. His awards include four from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, 5 from the International Society of Refractive Surgery, and 2 gold medals from the Pan Arab Council of Ophthalmology.

He has been active in public communication concerning ophthalmology and has appeared on Nightline with Ted Koppel, the McNeil/Lehrer News Hour, the ABC 20/20 News Show, Good Morning America, ABC Nightly News, and frequently on CNN.

Dr. Waring serves as a Medical Consultant to multiple ophthalmic companies. He serves as an expert witness in medical malpractice cases – for both defendants and plaintiffs.
