    Stephen L. Nelson, MD, PhD, FAAP, is a dual board certified Child Neurologist with over 15 years of experience in Pediatric Neurology and Pediatrics.

    Dr. Nelson is the current Director of Pediatric Neurology at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, LA, where he performs high volume inpatient and outpatient evaluations. He runs the pediatric epilepsy center which offers video EEG monitoring as well as epilepsy surgery. Dr. Nelson is also a full-time Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry at Tulane University School of Medicine. He holds a medical license in the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Maryland and is certified as a medical doctor expert witness by the state of Florida.

    Litigation Support - Dr. Nelson has been providing expert witness services since 2004. He has served as an expert witness in child neurology for both defense and plaintiff counsels in the military, civilian sector, in various states, and even overseas.

    Dr. Nelson's services include Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and reviews, objective opinions, deposition, and trial testimony.     Patricia Spivey Neuropsychological Assessments Expert Photo Patricia S. Spivey, PsyD, has been providing Forensic and Neuropsychological Assessments in private practice for over 10 years. She offers Medical-Legal evaluations for stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia, cognitive disabilities, learning disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and other disorders.

He graduated with honors (cum laude) with a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from Princeton University. He then completed his Master’s and PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics, and his Medical degree (MD) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

    For his post-grad training, Dr. Katzenberg did his internship with the Yale-Waterbury Internal Medicine program, completed residency in Neurology at Stanford, and completed residency in Pediatrics at California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco.
