Dr. Susan Rice, PhD

. Specializing in Clinical, Animal and Laboratory Toxicology, Pharmacology, and Biochemistry
, Dr. Rice investigates Product Liability and Personal Injury Claims
that result in adverse health effects.
Prior to consulting, Dr. Rice was a faculty member at Stanford University School of Medicine in the Department of Anesthesia, and concurrently a Research Scientist at the VA Medical Center, also in Palo Alto, CA. During her tenure with these institutions she was Principal Investigator on NIH and VA grants and performed in vitro, animal, and clinical research as well as mentoring medical students, anesthesia residents, postdoctoral fellows, and MDs.
Dr. Rice works with attorneys and insurance claims adjusters to determine whether claims are reasonable and whether injury claims are likely to have resulted from specific, reported agents or events. She provides expert opinions and testimony in support of litigation and reviews environmental and scientific reports to obtain information and / or verify accuracy. Dr. Rice's Expert Witness services are available to insurance companies and attorneys for both Plaintiff and Defense.
