Dr. Ryszard Szymani, Founder and Director of WMI, is a Wood Machining Scientist who has worked in the Wood Machining Field for over thirty nine years, conducting research on high energy water-jet cutting, wear resistance improvement of saws and knives, theoretical and experimental analysis of circular saw tensioning, on reduction of kerf losses during sawing, and veneer peeling. He offers consulting on the latest wood processing equipment, production efficiency, machine safeguarding and worker safety.
