Evans,
President of E.L. Evans Associates ADJUSTERS, SURVEYORS and INVESTIGATORS, is a
graduate of U.C.L.A. with a B.A. in English.
He is a Licensed Private Investigator and Insurance Adjuster in
E.L. Evans
Associates, Inc. was founded in 1974 and used by numerous insurance companies,
self-insureds and the Underwriters at Lloyd's of
London for the investigation and adjustment of various insurance claims. These include property, casualty and
professional liability claims. The
company was also used by many attorney firms for the investigation of
individuals and companies in connection with insurance claims and other legal
actions.
Prior to opening
his own office, Mr. Evans was manager of Graham Miller and Co., Lloyd's
Adjusters, offices in

concerned with the training of new investigators and adjusters and speaks to
claims personnel and adjusters groups.
He has traveled extensively in Central and

in the book "MEN OF ACHIEVEMENT" (12th Edition) published by I.B.C.,
1991 - 1993, the
state of South Carolina Coastal Council had Mr. Evans under retainer to
"evaluate damage to habitable structures...to determine if the structure
is damaged beyond repair..." and to "assist the Council in presenting
and defending the conclusions of its investigation ... during subsequent
litigation." He is one of only
three adjusters to hold this distinction.
Since 1980, Mr.
Evans has been qualified as an Expert Witness in courts in

private pilot and spends whatever free time he has flying both powered aircraft

he worked as an adjuster and claims consultant in
Like many of his contemporaries,
he started as an investigator and adjuster of motor vehicle claims. Throughout the years he has continued to
supervise and indeed become involved in the direct handling of these most basic
and prolific of all claims. He also has
extensive experience in the investigation and adjustment of medical,
engineering and agents E & O claims.
Presently Mr. Evans
is an Independent Claims Consultant and is available for consultation on claims
involving insurance, construction, "Bad Faith" and fraud. He is also available as an appraiser,
arbitrator or umpire in disputes under insurance coverages
or construction contract, as well as claims representative at Mandatory
Settlement Conferences and Mediations.
He is presently
involved in a number of large claims as well as appraisals and arbitrations of
a variety of claims.
