Cirilo Sotelo-Avila, MD, is Board Certified in Pathology. With over 45 years of experience in top Children's Hospitals throughout the United States, he specializes in Pediatric Pathology, Placental Pathology, Neonatal, and Pediatric Autopsy Pathology.

Dr. Sotelo-Avila is the former Director of the Residency Training Program in Pediatric Pathology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He is currently a Professor in the Departments of Pathology and Pediatrics. He is an inspector for the College of American Pathologists. His other memberships include the Society for Pediatric Pathology, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. Dr. Sotelo-Avila has published over 90 papers on topics within his field of expertise.
