Jane Gray, PhD
has over 25 years of experience in the fields of Sociology and Criminology
. Dr. Gray has consulted with a number of public and private sector agencies as well as numerous attorneys on matters concerning social science with criminal behavior in particular.
As an expert witness, her expertise resides in identifying the foreseeability of crime by evaluating the environment as would a criminal offender. Her extensive experience and research with prison inmates provides the necessary framework for determining how offenders estimate their risk of apprehension and the likelihood of a successful criminal outcome.
Dr. Gray has worked in the legal industry for over 25 years. She been retained as an expert in over 70 cases and has qualified to testify in federal and numerous state courts. Dr. Gray represents attorneys for both Plaintiff and Defense in cases involving premises liability, mass shootings and neegligent hiring and retention.
