Thomas Dydek, PhD, DABT, PE, specializes in the evaluation of the potential for chemical exposures to affect human health and welfare. He is a Board-Certified Toxicologist (Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology, D.A.B.T.) with a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology. He also did a post-doctoral fellowship in Toxicology and is a Licensed Professional Engineer, specializing in the area of environmental engineering.

Dr. Dydek is a toxicology expert in evaluating the potential human health effects associated with exposure to toxic chemicals such as asbestos, benzene, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, metals, oil and gas fracking chemicals, pesticides, petroleum products, silica, solvents, toxic gases, and many other chemicals in the environment and in occupational settings. He also evaluates exposures to microbial agents such as mold and bacteria.

Dr. Dydek has training and experience in preparing evaluating the health effects of industrial and environmental chemical exposures and tobacco smoking, conducting state of the art toxicological reviews for alternative fuels registrations and other projects, preparing product safety evaluations, and doing chemical exposure assessments.

Litigation Support - Dr. Dydek has provided expert witness services in more than 250 toxic tort cases and regulatory agency Public Hearings. He has given 50 depositions, and testified at trial 10 times over the past 20 years. His work in these cases has included the evaluation of the health risks of chemical exposures and exposures to microbial agents. These exposures have occurred in the community, in occupational settings, and in other indoor environments.
