Charles E. Teebagy, MD, FCCP, has over 45 years of private practice experience, specializing in the field of Pediatrics, on a primary and urgent care basis.

Dr. Teebagy is a graduate of Boston University Medical School. He trained in Pediatrics at Boston City Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, which is usually ranked #1 by U.S. News and World Report. In addition to four decades of private practice, he was on the Clinical Voluntary Faculty/Instructor at Jackson Memorial Hospital. At the present time, he is an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science in the Charles E. Schmitt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University.

Dr. Teebagy’s practice has focused on disease prevention through proactive health care management and immunizations, along with the treatment of illnesses, injuries, and pediatric infectious diseases.

Dr. Teebagy has managed the primary health care of patients from infancy, through adolescent health transitions and through early adulthood, often providing medical care to the children and grandchildren of his patients.

Dr. Teebagy has dedicated a large segment of his practice toward pediatric patients with special health care needs. Such broad scale experience ranges from the diagnosis and treatment of mental and physical disabilities, birth defects, chronic ailments, autoimmune disorders, ADHD, autism and growth deficiencies, among others.

Michael Schechter, MD, MPH, is a Pediatric Pulmonologist with extensive practice experience, academic credentials, and a national and international reputation in the care of neonates and children with Lung Disease and Respiratory Disorders.

Dr. Schechter is a Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University and Children's Hospital of Richmond. He is also Director of the VCU Cystic Fibrosis Center and the Children's Hospital of Richmond Community Asthma Program, Immediate Past Chair of the Section of Pediatric Pulmonology of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and Associate Editor of the AAP Handbook on Pediatric Pulmonology. Dr. Schechter is a previous Chair of the Pediatric Program Committee of the American Thoracic Society.

Litigation Support - Having spent the early part of his career as a general pediatrician, Dr. Schechter has insight into standards of care for pediatric generalists. He has been an academic pediatric pulmonologist at several institutions for over 15 years, dealing with children who have rare and common, simple and complex respiratory conditions. He is skilled in bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing, and in chronic mechanical ventilation.
