Saman Hazany, MD, is a board and CAQ certified Neuroradiologist, who did his radiology residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) of Harvard University. His main expertise is in Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Epilepsy, and Stroke.
Dr. Hazany is a staff neuroradiologist at the west Los Angles Veterans Administration (VA) medical center and an associate professor in the division of neuroradiology at the University of Southern California. He has worked at multiple level 1 trauma, stroke, and rehabilitation centers such as BIDMC of Harvard University, LA County USC, and Rancho Los Amigos for more than 9 years, where he has gained a great deal of experience with trauma and stroke imaging.
In addition, as the epilepsy expert neuroradiologist of the USC surgical epilepsy consortium, Dr. Hazany has contributed to the care of numerous patients with epilepsy. He has designed and led multiple clinical trials and research projects involving neurologic diseases.
