An attending burn surgeon prior to private practice, he has extensive experience in Hand, Facial, and Extremity Trauma and Reconstruction.
Dr. LoMonaco conducted laboratory research for two years at the Medical School studying tissue healing and helping develop skin substitutes for burn victims. During his formal training, he participated in over 5,000 surgical procedures. He served as Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and Director of Plastic Surgery at the LBJ Hospital.
Dr. LoMonaco's private practice, established in 2003, is uniquely focused on Breast and Body Contouring Surgery with a special emphasis on Post-Bariatric Surgery Reconstruction.
