Mary LaPorte has over 40 years in the Insurance Industry. Her experience extends to the areas of Agency Principal, Personal Lines Management, Claims Management, and E&O Management. She has served on insurance company agency advisory councils and on the Commissioner of Insurance's Licensing advisory council. She has been a self-employed consultant for over 20 years, working with insurance agencies with workflows, standard of care, E&O loss avoidance and education. Ms. LaPorte holds several designations including CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter), CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), LIC (Licensed Insurance Counselor), and CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent). She has received the coveted Aschom Education Award for dedication to education in the insurance industry, and in 2020 was inducted into the Michigan Insurance Hall of Fame.
