Aaron (Al) Duncan II, ACTAR, is a Vehicle Collision Reconstructionist with Warren. He is accredited as a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist by The Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction. 

Background Experience - Prior to joining Warren, Mr. Duncan worked for 23 years as a South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper to include 10 years as a Multi-Disciplinary Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) member. As a trooper, he investigated in excess of 1,000 vehicle accidents and incidents. Then, as a member of M.A.I.T. for 10 years, he was involved in over 1,000 detailed investigations and collision reconstructions. Mr. Duncan is a member of the South Carolina Association of Reconstruction Specialists (SCARS), the International Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists (IAARS), and the Blue Knights International Motorcycle Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina and completed the Law Enforcement Basic Program at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in Columbia, South Carolina. 

Mr. Duncan has testified multiple times in state courts and he has been court qualified as an expert in accident investigation and collision reconstruction. His expertise focuses on investigating and reconstructing vehicle collisions involving single and multi-vehicles, animals, pedestrians, motorcycles, heavy trucks, and commercial vehicles. Mr. Duncan is also a skilled user of Forensic Mapping Technology and Computerized Collision Diagramming Software for collision scene analysis. He is experienced in the data download and analysis of airbag black boxes (Crash Data Retrieval Units) in automobiles, pickup trucks, and SUVs.

Event Data Recorders (EDRs) were first introduced by General Motors (GM) in 1974. That data was only available to GM; however, since 1994 more and more vehicle EDR’s have recorded data that can be gathered. The data captured can be imaged and is being used by vehicle manufacturers, law enforcement officers, and collision reconstructionists to better understand what is happening in a collision. In accident investigation, EDRs have the potential to provide independent measurements of crash data that would elsewise be estimated by reconstruction methodology.

Harvey H. Stone, PE, President, has over 25 years of Railroad experience with Short Line Railroads and Streetcar Systems.

Background - Mr. Stone began working for the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1964 and then A. W. Cross, Inc. a contractor in 1966. Mr. Stone was then employed by Northwest Engineering, Inc. in 1968 and became president in 1980 until 1996. In 1996, he organized Stone Consulting & Design, Inc. to provide consulting services to the railroad industry, sold the firm to TranSystems in 2007 and re-purchased the firm in 2010.

Mr. Stone has provided track design, bridge design, and all types of inspection services to railroads and associated clients. He has no affiliations with Class 1 Railroads. Mr. Stone has been an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association. His membership in the ACEC has enabled him to obtain invaluable exposure to the many changes in engineering technology over the years as well as continued awareness of the constantly changing rules, regulations and grant programs on all governmental levels.

Litigation Support - Mr. Stone and his team at Stone Consulting, Inc. have investigated insurance claims both railroad related and property damage for a number of nationally known insurance companies. These claims have included grade crossing accidents, damage to railroad equipment by trucks or other vehicles, determining blame for derailments, damage due to sewer line construction, foundation damage and damages to homes due to floods, hurricanes, and traffic accidents.

Mr. Dunville has built, installed, engineered, estimated, sold and serviced overhead bridge cranes. He has sat on the industry committees that wrote the crane specs for the steel industry, written articles, and taught professional architects and engineers about the special requirements to be aware of when designing buildings that will house overhead cranes.     You have a shiny new building with a shiny new crane and everything looks great. For some reason, though, the crane won't clear the building columns, even though the contractor and the crane manufacturer are saying everything is to spec and it's not their problem. Common sense says somebody is wrong and that somebody should have to pay (because it's going to cost a bundle).

    It is absolutely critical in the evaluation of a legal case involving cranes, to determine what type crane is involved. The word "Crane" is a generic term that covers virtually anything that lifts with a hook, but each crane type is a whole different industry with different industry associations (which compile the industry product specifications), different governing specification and different OSHA requirements. As a matter of fact, some cranes don't even have hooks!
