John D. Shepherd, RRC, RROis the principal of Shepherd Consulting Services, a Building Envelope, Roofing, Waterproofing, and Exterior Walls  construction forensic consulting firm, and the Building Envelope Institute, a firm that develops education programs for construction professionals (consultants, architects , engineers, con- tractors, etc.).

Mr. Shepherd has been consulting for more 26 years and has been active in the construction industry for over 50 years, including 10 as a roofing contractor. He is an IIBEC Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) and RRO, a Haag Certified Commer- cial/Residential Roof Inspector, and a certified building science thermographer. Over his career in the industry, Mr. Shepherd has conducted thousands of building envelope investigations including those related to leak investigations, construction defect, property assessment inspections, and property damage claims.

Through Thermal Imaging of America, a Division of Sheperd Consulting Services, Mr. Shepherd uses Thermal Imaging and various moisture meters to accurately locate the cause of moisture intrusion into a residential or commercial building. Mr. Shepherd is a noted author speaker in his field of expertise. He has been delivering presentations on Roofing and Waterproofing nationally for approximately 25 years. He has served on the board of directors for both RCI, Inc. and the SoCal Chapter of RCI, and has served on a number of committees in RCI/IIBEC and on ASTM International.

Litigation Support - Mr. Stein Offers consulting and expert services for attorneys on issues regarding road, street, highway, temporary traffic control, runway, and earthwork; asphalt, concrete, coatings and other construction materials; designs, plans, specifications, CPM scheduling (Primavera) and contract documents; right-of-way issues; and work zone safety. Licensed in Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Texas, he performs contract performance forensic investigations and provides consulting, expert reports, rebuttals, and testimony if required.

Ronald Tyson is a Building and Premises Expert in the construction business for over 45 years.  He has years of hands on experience in the individual trades as a tradesman, subcontractor and general contractor.  

Mr. Tyson has been a Michigan licensed builder since 1967 and has functioned as a general contractor and provided supervisory tasks for Tyson Enterprises, Incorporated and other contractors on all types of industrial, public, commercial and residential construction projects since 1963. He is a member of numerous building code and standard authorities, including but not limited to IBC [BOCA, UBC] NFPA, IAEI, NAHB, etc.

Mr. Tyson's experience and expertise can help clients with contracts, safety, and other obligations as they may affect project control of contractors and/or project managers.  He can advise on the duties in new and remodeling construction and maintenance required by the premises owner.

Litigation Support - Mr. Tyson has served the legal community as a Construction Expert Witness for 35 years. He has worked for both plaintiff and defendant attorneys. He is available to perform onsite inspections, research, review litigation matters, makes drawings, interview litigants, and provides evidence for court, including correct building code and life safety statutes and standards as they may affect personal injury claims, construction, contracts, etc. and causation.  Mr. Tyson has never been disqualified in over 200 times in court.

Mr. George has owned and operated Landscapes West since 1980, and is still providing design / build and maintenance services to his clients. His projects have included commercial, apartments, condominiums, and residential landscapes.
