Committed to fostering education and promoting justice, both Todd Welch and Gerry Laporte contribute to the advancement of forensic science through leadership roles, including service on the BOD for the American Board of Forensic Document Examiners and American Society of Questioned Document Examiners; served as the 40th President of the Midwestern Association of Forensic Scientists (Welch); and served as members of the National Institute of Justice Forensic Science Technology Working Group.

Gary D. Fletcher, PhD,  is the Founder and Principal Consultant at RnDDx Solutions LLC, a consulting firm founded in 2015, focused on Industrial Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering and Research and Product Development.  In his 30 years of experience, he has been co-inventor on 23 patents for devices and methods in blood collection and processing.

George Schiro is a DNA Technical Leader - Forensic Scientist. His duties include incorporating the DNA Advisory Board (DAB) standards, accountability for the technical operations of the lab, conducting DNA analysis using the 13 STR core loci and Y STR in casework, DNA research, forensic science training and crime scene investigation.

Mr. Schiro has worked over 3500 cases and has qualified as an expert over 175 times in 31 Louisiana parish courts, Arkansas, California, Florida, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Texas, West Virginia, federal court, U.S. court-martial, and two Louisiana city courts. Has also consulted on cases in 29 states.

Ted W. Simon, PhD, DABT, is an award winning Environmental Toxicologist and Scientist. His expertise is in toxicology, risk assessment, mathematical modeling, statistics, neuroscience, and environmental / ecological health issues.

Dr. Simon has over 10 years of experience as a toxicologist employed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He served as EPA’s senior toxicologist in the waste management division working on risk and soil cleanup.

Teaching Experience - Since 2001, Dr. Simon has served as an Instructor / Adjunct Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Science, College of Public Health, at the University of Georgia.

Public Speaker - Well published, including the author of a textbook on toxicology and environmental risk assessment, Dr. Simon has extensive national and international public speaking experience. Since 1996, he has been delivering seminars and lectures to universities and national institutes on many subjects within his area of expertise. Professor Christopher J. Tennant, PhD, CIH, has over 40 years of experience in the field of Environmental Health and Industrial Hygiene. He is Board Certified in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene. Dr. Tennant is currently President, CEO, and Principal Consultant at San Joaquin Environmental, in Fresno California, where he consults with Federal, State, County, City, various public agencies, and private industry sectors from public housing to Aerospace. His services are available in all 50 US States and the United Kingdom.

Dr. Tennant also serves as Professor Emeritus for the Department of Public Health at Fresno State University where he's taught Environment Health, Industrial Hygiene, and Occupational Health and Safety for 35 years at both undergraduate and post graduate levels.

Timothy A. Anderson, MS, MBA, is a former FDA Review Chemist with over 43 years of career experience in Pharmaceutical R&D, Quality Operations, and Regulatory Affairs. A uniquely interdisciplined individual, he melds comprehensive pharmaceutical industrial R&D, business development, QA/QC, and consultancy experiences with formal FDA-tenured regulatory credentials.

As a consultant in his own pharmaceutical development advisory firm for over 29 years, Mr. Anderson has furnished clients with services ranging from providing regulatory application filing strategies specialized in Chemistry and Manufacturing Controls (CMC), to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), quality system regulation (QSR) audits for finished dosage, and active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing, as well as for device, drug-device combination, and biologic products.  Technical and regulatory compliance due diligence services are furnished to institutional investors.

Joel Gagnier, PhD, is an experienced clinical Epidemiologist with over 25 years of experience in the assessment of general and specific causation in cases of Exposures to Chemicals and Medical Interventions, and the Risks of Disease or Adverse Events. He is a tenured professor with over 20 million dollars in funding and over 210 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Gagnier has methodologic expertise in human subject epidemiologic research (and more generally epidemiology), clinical research, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, as well as basic science research, statistics and biostatistics
