Andres Jimenez Vascone, MBA, has over 30 years of experience in the Paper / Containerboard Industry in Latin America. He specializes in the Sales and Marketing of the Agroexport Business.
Mr. Jimenez Vascone recently completed a course in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School (online coursework) where he enhanced his skills to close deals that might otherwise be deadlocked, and learned to maximize value in the agreements reached and resolve differences before they escalate into costly conflicts.
Background Experience - Since 1999, Mr. Jimenez Vascone has worked with Papelera Nacional S.A. where he has direct relations with the sales and exports of containerboard to the most important clients of the company which are all the cardboard manufacturers of boxes for bananas, flowers, and other Ecuadorian product exports, as well as the sales of the boxes from the box plant in Ecuador which initiated operations in 2011 and now sells approximately 110K MT per year of boxes.
In this role, Mr. Jimenez Vascone has the following duties:
- Responsible for the production planning of the 2 Paper Machines
- Responsible for the export division, maintaining relations with international clients in Central America, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, and others
- Responsible for the elaboration of the annual sales division budget for paper and boxes
