Rand M. Manasse, CFE, is a Forensic Accounting and Financial Damages Expert with over 40 years of finance, accounting, and operations leadership across private equity, turnaround, nonprofit, and infrastructure/renewable energy organizations.
For over 15 years, Mr. Manasse directed forensic and turnaround engagements as founder of RSR Consulting LLC. As Managing Partner of Green Lane Partners LLC, he performed forensic financial due diligence on cleantech/renewable energy acquisitions. As Founder of Reference Systems, Inc. (1980-2012), he provided forensic accounting and fraud review across 300+ client engagements, including a fraud investigation for the Church Pension Fund as Operating Partner overseeing a $9B pension service organization.
Litigation Support - Mr. Manasse is a Certified Fraud Examiner with direct board and fiduciary experience supporting expert opinions on governance and financial conduct. His direct board and fiduciary experience across private equity, infrastructure, and nonprofit boards supports expert opinions on governance process, officer/director conduct, and reasonable business judgment. He has direct litigation support experience including building the financial models underlying a testifying CPA/CFE's rebuttal expert report in a high-stakes shareholder dispute involving a proposed $1.27 billion buyout financing.
Mr. Manasse combines an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern with a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, giving him equal fluency in financial analysis and the technical/operational facts at the center of complex commercial disputes.
