David Wilshaw, MS, PG has over 35 years of international experience in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics, Engineering Geophysics, Hydrogeology and Geo-Environmental Assessments. He is licensed as a Professional Geologist in California, Florida, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. Mr. Wilshaw is also a Chartered Geologist and Fellow of the Geological Society of London in the United Kingdom.
Over a long career, Mr. Wilshaw has provided geological, geotechnical & geo-environmental expertise for residential, commercial & retail development, public buildings and infrastructure, open pit and underground mining reclamation, power plants, roads, railroads and ports. He has extensive experience in pre-construction geohazard and contaminated land assessment. He has been the statutory Professional Geologist pursuant to s.627.707 Florida Statutes for more than 850 sinkhole insurance claims and he is a certified Neutral Evaluator (under s.627.7074 Florida Statutes).
Mr. Wilshaw has extensive peer review & litigation experience, having provided expert witness testimony at over 160 depositions and over 40 trials. Mr. Wilshaw is also owner and President of Integrity Drilling & Geophysical Services, LLC, www.idgsfl.com, providing geotechnical drilling, soil testing and geophysical surveying throughout Florida. IGDS owns four (4) SPT drilling rigs, GPR equipment and a soil testing laboratory. He has taught courses at Purdue in human and safety factors areas, as well as decision making and artificial intelligence. He has authored numerous professionally-reviewed articles, and he has authored / coauthored internationally-recognized textbooks in the areas of human factors and ergonomics.|
Dr. Lehto specializes in knowledge engineering, warnings and instructions, structuring expert systems, accident modeling, accident statistical analysis, consumer product safety, boating safety, in-field national surveys of product usage and product information effectiveness.
David R. Clark, PE, PhD – Co-Founder Dr. Clark is an Emeritus Engineering Professor at Kettering University. He was an engineering Ph.D. graduate from the University of Michigan, where he specialized in human factors engineering and system safety analyses. In particular, his earlier degrees in mechanical and electrical areas have given him a special expertise in electrical fire- and explosion-related accidents.
Dr. Clark is also published on the topics of warnings and labeling. With considerable in-plant experience at General Motors, he is uniquely qualified to provide student theses and design projects while teaching at Kettering that deal with many types of mechanical and optimization projects. Finally, he has extensive experience working for loss control companies, performing over 150 fire origin and cause investigations in the past few years.

He has experience in entitlement, schedule, and damages analyses on over 30 construction disputes ranging in value from US$100,000 to US$7 billion, related to oil and gas, oil refinery, LNG, heavy civil, nuclear, environmental, chemical, power, industrial, commercial, and residential construction projects. Mr. Carter is proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and P3 software, and he has extensive experience in assessing the impact to engineering and construction works of RFIs, change orders and other events. Mr. Carter specializes in loss of productivity, cumulative impact, and quantum calculations, and had a lead role in assessing damages on more than a dozen major disputes. In addition, Mr. Carter has developed cost and schedule risk analysis models using Monte Carlo simulations to address the uncertainty of estimates and claims.
Michael J. Vallez, P.E., MBA, LEAN SIX SIGMA is a Senior Principal with Long International and has over 40 years of hands-on and leadership experience in project management, engineering/construction management, cost and schedule control, change management, claims, and dispute resolution. He has served in executive management roles for both the owner and contractor working on world-class oil and gas, power, and international mining projects.
